Why we run

April 20, 2000 – February 16, 2024
In 2011, the Four on the 4th — “Rally for Sally” was established as an event of community support for Sally and her relentless struggle against osteosarcoma. It is with profound sadness that this year’s “Rally for Sally” will instead be a remembrance of her life, spirit and loving heart.
Sally was a beacon of inspiration, hope and courage for so many. She was a humble, kind and selfless person, always concerned about the needs of others above her own. Sally cared deeply about the world we live in and every creature on it, both large and small. Her path to heaven is paved with the hearts of all that knew and loved her. Godspeed Sally, we will forever hold you dear in our hearts until the day when we can embrace you in our arms once again!

The Sally Naser Charitable Foundation was formed in 2018 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with a mission to support important research in the search for cures of pediatric cancers and to support the families of pediatric cancers patients. While what we able to achieve may be modest, our resolve is bold and resolute. We are grateful for your consideration in supporting the 13th running of “Four on the 4th Rally for Sally” road race to honor Sally and help the many other young cancer patients whose lives have been forever changed or tragically ended by this terrible disease.
